2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Wash the removable water tank, drip tray, coffee bean box, coffee capsule box, coffee powder box, and permanent filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all components before assembly.
2.2 Water Tank Installation and Filling
- Remove the detachable transparent water tank from the side of the coffee maker.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water. Ensure the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks.
- Place the filled water tank back onto the coffee maker, ensuring it is securely seated.

2.3 Power Connection
Plug the coffee maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The touchscreen will illuminate, indicating the device is ready for use.
3. Operating Instructions
The AIRMSEN coffee maker offers various brewing methods and customization options via its intuitive touchscreen.

3.1 Brewing with Whole Beans (Grind & Brew)
- Open the top lid and insert the coffee bean box with the blade grinder. Ensure it is properly aligned.
- Add up to 20g of whole coffee beans into the bean box.
- On the touchscreen, select your desired brew size (6-14 oz) using the "Capacity" buttons.
- Adjust the grinding time (10-20s) using the "Beantime" buttons to achieve your preferred grind coarseness (coarse to fine).
- Press the "Coffeebean" button to start the grind and brew cycle.

3.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee
- Open the top lid and insert the coffee powder box.
- Add your desired amount of ground coffee (do not exceed 30g) into the powder box.
- On the touchscreen, select your desired brew size (6-14 oz) using the "Capacity" buttons.
- Press the "Coffee" button to start brewing.
3.3 Brewing with K-Cup Pods
- Open the top lid and insert the coffee capsule box.
- Place a K-Cup pod into the capsule box.
- On the touchscreen, select your desired brew size (6-14 oz) using the "Capacity" buttons.
- Press the "Coffee" button to start brewing.

3.4 Brew Size Selection
Use the "+" and "-" buttons under "Capacity" on the touchscreen to select from 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz, or 14oz brew sizes. The machine can accommodate travel mugs up to 6.3 inches tall.

3.5 Iced Coffee Preparation
To make iced coffee, brew a double-strength shot (e.g., a smaller brew size with a bolder grind setting if using beans) and cool it instantly with ice. Customize with your preferred sweetness and milk ratios.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Automatic Cleaning Function
The coffee maker features a self-clean function. To initiate, press and hold the "Descaling" button on the touchscreen for 3 seconds. The machine will perform an automatic cleaning cycle.

4.2 Descaling Reminder
The coffee maker will display a descaling alert when maintenance is required. Follow the instructions in the manual for a full descaling process to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your machine.
4.3 Removable Drip Tray and Components
The drip tray is removable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. Regularly remove and clean the coffee bean box, coffee capsule box, coffee powder box, and permanent filter to prevent buildup and maintain coffee quality.

5. Troubleshooting
- Coffee not brewing: Ensure the water tank is filled, the correct brewing accessory (bean box, powder box, or capsule box) is properly inserted, and the lid is closed. Check for any error messages on the touchscreen.
- Descaling alert: Perform a descaling cycle as indicated in the Maintenance section.
- Weak coffee: If using whole beans, adjust the grinding time to a longer duration for a finer grind. If using ground coffee, ensure you are using the recommended amount.
- Excessive sediment in coffee: Consider using filter paper with the permanent filter for cleaner coffee, especially with finer grinds.
- Overheat/Low water alerts: The machine has dual protection. If an overheat alert occurs, allow the machine to cool down. If a low water alert occurs, refill the water tank.
