4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert one of the 1950mAh batteries into the battery compartment of the camera.
  2. Place the camera into the charging dock, ensuring it is properly seated.
  3. Connect the USB cable to the charging dock and then to a power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light on the dock will illuminate, indicating charging is in progress. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
  5. You can also charge the spare battery simultaneously in the dedicated slot on the charging dock.

4.2. TF Card Installation

The camera supports external TF card storage up to 128GB. A 32GB TF card is typically included.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the TF card inward until it springs out.

4.3. Magnetic Clip Installation

The magnetic clip system allows for secure attachment to various garments without damaging them.

  1. Separate the two magnetic clip pieces: one marked "Inside" and one marked "Outside".
  2. Attach the camera to the "Outside" clip piece. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Place the "Inside" clip piece inside your clothing (e.g., shirt, jacket, vest) at the desired mounting location.
  4. Align the "Outside" clip (with the camera attached) with the "Inside" clip on the exterior of your clothing. The strong magnets will attract and secure the camera in place.
  5. Note: Ensure the "Inside" and "Outside" clips are oriented correctly for maximum magnetic force. Reversing the direction may weaken the magnetic hold.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the camera shuts down.

5.2. Video Recording

  • From standby mode, press the Video Record button once to start recording. The recording indicator light will flash.
  • Press the Video Record button again to stop recording. The file will be saved automatically.

5.3. Photo Capture

  • From standby mode, press the Photo Capture button once to take a still photograph.
  • The camera will briefly display a capture confirmation, and the image will be saved.

5.4. Playback and File Transfer

  • On-Camera Playback: Use the navigation buttons to browse and play back recorded videos and photos directly on the camera screen.
  • File Transfer to Computer: Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive. You can then access and transfer files.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals.
