Setup
Power Connection
Connect the provided USB power cable to the clock's power input port and then plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The clock requires continuous mains power for operation. A built-in CR2025 battery provides backup for settings during power outages, but does not power the clock itself.

Initial Time Setting

Operating Instructions
Display Brightness Adjustment
The clock display offers 5 levels of brightness. Locate the brightness control button (often marked with a sun icon) and press it repeatedly to cycle through the brightness levels until your desired setting is reached.
Night Light Function
The night light, shaped like a piece of toast, also has 5 adjustable brightness levels. Press the dedicated night light button (often a light bulb icon or the 'toast' lever) to turn it on/off and cycle through its brightness settings.

Setting Alarms
To set an alarm:
- Press the 'Alarm Set' button (often an alarm clock icon). The alarm time will flash.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
- Press 'Alarm Set' again to confirm the time.
- You can then select from 10 available alarm tones and 10 volume settings using the respective buttons.
- The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating it is active.

Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the large snooze button (often the golden lever on the side) to temporarily silence the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

Nap Timer
The nap timer allows you to set a countdown for short periods. Press the 'Nap Timer' button (often a timer icon) and use the '+' and '-' buttons to select a duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes). The timer will begin counting down. An alarm will sound when the timer reaches zero.

Child Lock
To prevent accidental changes to settings, activate the child lock function. Locate the 'Child Lock' button (often a lock icon) and press and hold it for a few seconds until the lock icon appears on the display. This will disable all functions except the night light and screen brightness adjustment. To deactivate, press and hold the 'Child Lock' button again.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the device, unplug it from the power source. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
Battery Replacement (for backup battery)
The Netzu K028B uses a CR2025 button cell battery for power-off memory. If settings are no longer retained during power interruptions, the battery may need replacement. To replace, carefully open the battery compartment on the underside of the clock, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2025 battery with the correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
Troubleshooting
- Clock not turning on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the clock and a working electrical outlet. Verify the power adapter is functioning.
- Display is dim or off: Check the display brightness settings. If the clock is unplugged, the display will be off as the backup battery only saves settings, not powers the display.
- Alarm not sounding: Verify that the alarm is set and active (check for the alarm icon on the display). Ensure the alarm volume is not set to zero.
- Settings not saving: The CR2025 backup battery may be depleted. Replace the battery as described in the 'Maintenance' section.
- Buttons unresponsive: Check if the child lock function is activated. Deactivate it if necessary.
