4. Setup

4.1 Connecting Components

  1. Positioning: Place the soundbar centrally below your TV. Position the subwoofer on the floor, ideally near the soundbar. Place the two front surround speakers to the left and right of your viewing area, preferably above ear level for optimal cascading audio.
  2. Connect Subwoofer: Connect the wired subwoofer to the soundbar using the dedicated subwoofer cable.
  3. Connect Surround Speakers: Connect the two wired front surround speakers to the soundbar using their respective cables.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the soundbar and then to a power outlet.

4.2 Connecting to Your TV

The HiElite A41pro offers multiple connectivity options. For the best audio quality and Dolby Atmos support, HDMI eARC is recommended.

*"Partially supported" means that HDMI ARC can only support Atmos transmitted via Dolby Digital Plus, but not Dolby TrueHD Atmos.

HDMI eARC Connection (Recommended)

  1. Locate the HDMI port labeled "eARC" or "ARC" on your TV.
  2. Connect one end of the provided eARC cable to the eARC port on your soundbar.
  3. Connect the other end of the eARC cable to the eARC/ARC port on your TV.
  4. Ensure your TV's audio output settings are configured for HDMI ARC/eARC.

Optical Connection

  1. Connect one end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL IN port on your soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the Optical Out port on your TV.
  3. Ensure your TV's audio output settings are configured for Optical/PCM.

AUX Connection

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port on your soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the Headphone Out or Audio Out port on your TV or other audio source.

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Power on the soundbar and select Bluetooth input mode. The soundbar display will show "BT" and flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile device or TV, enable Bluetooth and search for "Hiwill A41pro".
  3. Select the soundbar from the list to pair. Once connected, the "BT" indicator will stop flashing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the soundbar or remote control.
  • Volume Control: Use the Volume Up/Down buttons on the soundbar or remote.
  • Input Selection: Press the Input button on the soundbar or remote to cycle through HDMI eARC, Optical, AUX, and Bluetooth inputs.
  • Mute: Press the Mute button on the remote control to mute/unmute audio.

5.2 Sound Adjustments

  • Bass Adjustment: Use the dedicated Bass +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust bass levels from "BAS-6" to "BAS+6".
  • Treble Adjustment: Use the dedicated Treble +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust treble levels from "TRE-6" to "TRE+6".

6. Firmware Update

Hiwill periodically releases firmware updates to enhance performance and add new features.
