4. Installation
Before installation, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific header locations.
4.1. Intel Platform Installation
- Install the Intel backplate onto the rear of the motherboard.
- From the front of the motherboard, install the four Intel Socket standoffs into the backplate.
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader).
- Remove the protective film from the copper base of the pump.
- Place the pump/water block assembly onto the CPU, ensuring the standoffs go through the holes in the bracket.
- Install the thumb nuts in a cross-pattern (1-3-2-4) to ensure even pressure. Tighten only after all four are installed.
- Connect the pump's 3-Pin connector to the AIO/PUMP header on the motherboard.
- Connect the fan's 4-Pin PWM connector to the corresponding fan header on the motherboard.
- Connect the fan's 5V 3-Pin ARGB connector to the corresponding ARGB header on the motherboard.
4.2. AMD Platform Installation
- Replace the motherboard's pre-installed CPU retention brackets with those included in the component kit.

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the SAMA L60 AIO cooler operates automatically based on your motherboard's fan and pump control settings. Ensure your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings are configured to utilize PWM control for the fans and pump for optimal performance and noise levels.
- Fan Control: The 120mm PWM ARGB fans adjust their speed (800-2000 RPM) based on CPU temperature, providing efficient cooling when needed and quiet operation during lighter loads.
- Pump Control: The pump operates at 2500 RPM to ensure continuous coolant flow. It is recommended to set the pump speed to a constant high setting in your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI for consistent cooling performance.
- ARGB Lighting: The ARGB lighting on the fans and pump can be customized through your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) if connected to a compatible 5V 3-Pin ARGB header.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AIO cooler.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically clean the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air to remove dust buildup. Dust can impede airflow and reduce cooling efficiency.
- Tube Inspection: Check the coolant tubes for any signs of kinks, leaks, or damage. Ensure they are not pressing against other components that could cause wear.
- Fan Operation: Listen for any unusual noises from the fans or pump. Ensure all fans are spinning freely.
- Thermal Paste: While not frequently required, reapplying thermal paste every few years can help maintain optimal thermal transfer between the CPU and the cold plate.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SAMA L60 AIO cooler, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power/Fans Not Spinning:
- Check all power connections to the pump and fans. Ensure they are securely plugged into the correct headers on the motherboard.
- Verify that the AIO/PUMP header in the BIOS/UEFI is enabled and set to an appropriate power mode.
- High CPU Temperatures:
- Ensure the pump is running. You may feel a slight vibration or hear a faint hum.
- Confirm that the protective film was removed from the cold plate before installation.
- Check that thermal paste was applied correctly and evenly.
- Verify that the mounting pressure is adequate by ensuring the thumb nuts are tightened in the correct cross-pattern.
- Clean any dust from the radiator fins and fans.
- ARGB Lighting Not Working:
- Ensure the 5V 3-Pin ARGB connector is correctly plugged into a compatible ARGB header on your motherboard. Do not connect to a 12V RGB header, as this can damage the LEDs.
- Check your motherboard's RGB software for lighting control and ensure the cooler is detected.
- Unusual Noises:
- If you hear gurgling noises, it may indicate air trapped in the loop. Gently tilt your PC case in different directions to help move air bubbles to the radiator.
- If fans are making excessive noise, check for obstructions or loose mounting screws.
