1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before initial use, fully charge the provided Li-ion rechargeable battery using the 30W USB-C charger and USB-C to USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the camera's USB-C port and a power source. The charging indicator will provide status updates.

4.2. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

Locate the battery and memory card compartment. Insert the fully charged battery, ensuring correct orientation. Insert a compatible memory card (not included) into the designated slot. Close the compartment securely.

4.3. Attaching the Lens

Align the red dot on the lens with the red dot on the camera body's lens mount. Gently twist the lens clockwise until it clicks into place. To remove, press the lens release button and twist counter-clockwise.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the camera body to turn the camera on or off.

5.2. Using the Tilting Touch Display

The 3.2-inch touch display can be tilted upwards to 40 and 90 degrees, enabling a unique waist-level shooting style. Navigate menus, adjust settings, and review images using touch gestures (click, drag, pinch-to-zoom).

5.3. Adjusting Settings

Access various camera settings such as exposure mode, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed through the touch interface or physical dials/buttons. Refer to the on-screen prompts for guidance.

5.4. Shooting Modes

The camera offers multiple shooting modes including Automatic, Landscape, Manual, Movie, Portrait, and Sports. Select the appropriate mode for your photographic needs.

6. Lens Compatibility

The 907X & CFV 100C is compatible with Hasselblad XCD lenses, offering a wide range of focal lengths and apertures. Additionally, it supports Hasselblad HC/HCD, XPan, and V System lenses via dedicated adapters, expanding your creative options.

7. Image Quality & Color Science

9. Post-Production & Mobile App

The camera captures images in JPEG and RAW formats, providing flexibility for post-production. Hasselblad offers a mobile application (Phocus Mobile) that allows for wireless transfer of images and basic editing on a connected smart device. This facilitates quick review and sharing of your work.

11. Maintenance

  • Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
  • Check for any debris in the battery compartment or contacts.

12.2. Image Quality Issues

  • Verify lens is clean and free of smudges or dust.
  • Check camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) for appropriate values for your shooting conditions.
  • Ensure the sensor is clean; if not, refer to section 11.2.

12.3. Autofocus Problems

  • Ensure sufficient light for the autofocus system.
  • Check that the lens is securely mounted.
  • Clean lens contacts on both the lens and camera body.
