1. Introduction

It leverages Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for high-speed data transfer and supports multiple display configurations.

5. Setup

5.1 Connecting the Power Adapter

  1. Connect the 140W GaN power adapter to the DC power input port on the rear of the docking station.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the docking station. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5.2 Connecting to a Host Computer

  1. Using the provided Thunderbolt 4 cable, connect one end to a Thunderbolt 4 port on the rear of the docking station.
  2. Connect the other end of the Thunderbolt 4 cable to a Thunderbolt 4 port on your host computer.
  3. Your computer should automatically detect the docking station. Install any necessary drivers if prompted.

5.3 Installing Workflow Modules

The docking station features six customizable bays for Lexar Professional Workflow modules.

  1. Gently slide your desired Lexar Professional Workflow card reader or portable SSD module into an empty bay until it clicks into place.
  2. Ensure the module is securely seated.
  3. To remove a module, press the eject button (if present on the module) or gently pull it out.

5.4 Connecting Displays

Connect an HDMI cable from your display to the HDMI port on the rear of the docking station. The dock supports:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Data Transfer

Once modules are installed and the docking station is connected to your computer, the inserted memory cards or portable SSDs will appear as removable drives. You can then drag and drop files, copy, or move data as you would with any other storage device.

The Thunderbolt 4 interface provides up to 40Gbps bandwidth, enabling fast transfers. Individual bays may support different maximum speeds depending on the module type (e.g., 10Gbps for some bays, 40Gbps for Thunderbolt 4 ports).

6.2 Simultaneous Operations

The docking station allows for simultaneous data operations across multiple inserted modules. This means you can back up content to several drives at once, significantly speeding up your workflow.

6.3 Daisy-Chaining Multiple Docks

You can connect up to six Lexar Professional Workflow Docking Stations in a daisy-chain configuration using Thunderbolt 4 cables. This expands your available bays and connectivity options.

  1. Connect the first docking station to your host computer via Thunderbolt 4.
  2. Connect a Thunderbolt 4 cable from the second Thunderbolt 4 port of the first dock to a Thunderbolt 4 port on the second dock.
  3. Repeat this process for additional docks, up to a maximum of six.

7. Maintenance
