1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your PerGar 160 x 200 cm Storage Bed. This upholstered bed features integrated LED lighting in the headboard, a hydraulic lift mechanism for under-mattress storage, and an adjustable bed height. The frame is constructed from wood and iron, upholstered in beige velvet with rivet ornamentation.

2. Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use.
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area. Small parts can be a choking hazard.
• Ensure all connections are secure before using the bed.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 200 kg.
• Exercise caution when operating the hydraulic lift mechanism. Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts.
• Only use the bed on a flat, stable surface.
• Unplug the LED lighting power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Do not attempt to modify the bed's structure or electrical components.

3. Package Contents

Your PerGar Storage Bed is shipped in two separate packages. Please ensure you have received both packages and all components before beginning assembly.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended to have two people for assembly. Follow the included detailed assembly instructions step-by-step.

General Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Bed Frame: Connect the headboard, side rails, and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are tightened securely.
3. Install Hydraulic Lift Mechanism: Attach the hydraulic lift arms to the bed frame according to the instructions. Ensure they are correctly oriented and securely fastened.
4. Attach Slatted Base: Place the slatted base onto the bed frame and secure it. The slatted base will connect to the hydraulic lift mechanism.
5. Connect LED Lighting: Install the LED lighting strip into the designated channel in the headboard. Connect the power supply and route the cable safely.
6. Adjust Bed Height (if applicable): If your model allows for adjustable mattress support height, follow the instructions to set your preferred level.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. LED Lighting

The integrated LED lighting in the headboard can be controlled via the included remote control or a mobile application.

• Remote Control: Point the remote control towards the headboard's receiver. Use the buttons to turn the lights on/off, change colors, adjust brightness, and select lighting modes.
• Mobile Application: Download the specified mobile application (refer to the assembly instructions for app name/QR code). Pair your device with the bed's LED system via Bluetooth. The app provides full control over colors, brightness, and dynamic lighting effects.

5.2. Hydraulic Storage Function

The bed features a hydraulic lift mechanism to access the under-mattress storage space.

1. To Open: Remove any items from the mattress surface. Firmly grasp the handle located at the foot end of the bed frame (or designated lifting point). Lift the mattress base upwards. The hydraulic mechanism will assist in lifting and holding the base in the open position.
2. To Close: Firmly grasp the handle and gently pull the mattress base downwards. Apply slight downward pressure until the base fully closes and latches into place. Ensure no objects are obstructing the closing mechanism.

Caution: Do not place hands or objects near the hinges or hydraulic arms when opening or closing the storage. Ensure the mattress is on the bed before operating the hydraulic lift, as the weight of the mattress is necessary for proper function.

5.3. USB and Type-C Charging Ports

The headboard includes integrated USB and Type-C ports for convenient device charging. Simply connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate port.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the velvet upholstery with a damp cloth. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Frame Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Hydraulic Mechanism: Inspect the hydraulic arms for any signs of wear or damage. Do not lubricate the hydraulic arms unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
• LED Lighting: Ensure the LED power cable is not pinched or damaged.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. LED Lights Not Working

• Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet and the LED strip.
• Ensure the remote control batteries are not depleted.
• Verify that the remote control is pointed directly at the receiver.
• If using the app, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the device is properly paired.

7.2. Hydraulic Lift Mechanism is Stiff or Not Holding

• Ensure the mattress is placed on the bed. The hydraulic system is designed to work with the weight of a mattress.
• Check for any obstructions preventing the mechanism from moving freely.
• Verify that all bolts securing the hydraulic arms are tight.
• If the issue persists, contact customer support. Do not attempt to force the mechanism.

7.3. Bed Frame is Wobbly or Creaking

• Re-tighten all assembly bolts and screws.
• Ensure the bed is on a level surface.
