Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the charging case, transmitters, and receiver. Place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case. Connect the USB-C to USB-C/A cable to the charging case and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port). The battery indicator on the charging case will show charging progress.

2. Powering On and Pairing

  1. Take the transmitters and receiver out of the charging case. They will automatically power on and attempt to pair.
  2. Observe the display screen on the receiver. A successful pairing is indicated by stable signal strength bars and the microphone icons for channels A and B.
  3. If pairing does not occur automatically, short press the pairing button on both the receiver and the desired transmitter(s) to initiate manual pairing.

3. Connecting to Your Device

The FIFINE M9 offers broad compatibility. Choose the appropriate cable for your recording device:

4. Attaching the Transmitter

Clip the transmitter onto your clothing, approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) from your mouth, for optimal sound capture. For outdoor use or in windy conditions, attach the detachable furry windscreen to reduce wind noise.

Operating Instructions

Recording Modes (Mono/Stereo)

The receiver supports both Mono and Stereo recording modes. Press the M/S button on the receiver to switch between modes:

Volume Control

Adjust the output volume of the microphones using the volume control buttons on the receiver. Monitor the audio levels on the receiver's display screen or your recording device to prevent clipping or distortion.

Mute Function

To temporarily stop audio transmission from a transmitter, short press the Power/Mute button on the transmitter. The microphone icon on the receiver's display will indicate if a channel is muted.

Noise Cancellation

Activate the noise cancellation feature by pressing the Noise Cancellation button on the transmitter. This helps reduce ambient background noise, enhancing voice clarity, especially in noisy environments.

Monitoring Audio

For real-time audio monitoring, connect headphones to your recording device's headphone jack (if available). This allows you to hear the audio as it's being recorded and make necessary adjustments.
