Mounting Process (General)

  1. Prepare Motherboard: For Intel sockets, install the provided backplate behind the motherboard and secure the spacers on the front side. For AMD sockets, remove the original retention brackets and replace them with the provided AMD retention brackets, ensuring the arrow points towards the CPU.
  2. Apply Thermal Paste: Apply a small amount of thermal paste to the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS). A thermal paste control film and spreader are included to help ensure the correct amount is applied.
  3. Mount Water Block: Carefully place the water block onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting screws. Tighten the screws in a diagonal pattern until snug, ensuring even pressure.
  4. Radiator and Fans: The fans are pre-installed on the radiator. Mount the radiator to an available fan mounting location in your PC case (e.g., top, front, or side).

Tube Orientation for Optimal Performance

For optimal performance and longevity of your AIO cooler, it is recommended to install the water block with the tubes facing downward, towards the GPU side of your motherboard. This helps prevent air bubbles from accumulating in the pump, ensuring consistent coolant flow.

Operating Instructions

Fan and Pump Control

The fans and pump are PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controllable, allowing for dynamic adjustment of speed based on CPU temperature. Connect the fan and pump cables to the appropriate headers on your motherboard (CPU_FAN, AIO_PUMP, or dedicated fan headers) and configure fan curves in your motherboard's BIOS or through compatible software.

Customizable ARGB Lighting

The pump blockhead features customizable ARGB lighting with 16 LEDs, dual infinity mirror rings, and an outer diffuser. This lighting can be synchronized with popular motherboard RGB software such as Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

Maintenance

  • Dust Removal: Regularly clean the radiator fins and fan blades to prevent dust buildup, which can impede airflow and reduce cooling performance. Use compressed air or a soft brush.
  • Inspect Tubing: Periodically check the tubing for any signs of kinks, leaks, or damage. Ensure connections are secure.
  • Coolant Check: While AIOs are sealed systems, monitor CPU temperatures for any unusual spikes that might indicate a loss of coolant or pump malfunction.

Troubleshooting

  • High CPU Temperatures:
    • Ensure the water block is properly seated on the CPU and screws are tightened evenly.
    • Verify thermal paste application is adequate and evenly spread.
    • Check that pump and fan cables are securely connected to the correct motherboard headers.
    • Confirm fan and pump speeds are configured correctly in BIOS/software and are not running too low.
    • Ensure radiator is not obstructed by dust or other components.
  • Unusual Noise:
    • Identify if the noise is coming from the pump or fans.
    • If from fans, check for obstructions or loose mounting. Adjust fan curves to reduce speed if noise is excessive.
    • If from the pump, ensure tubes are positioned to prevent air bubbles from entering the pump.
  • RGB Lighting Issues:
    • Verify ARGB cables are correctly connected to the motherboard's 5V ARGB header.
    • Ensure compatible RGB software is installed and configured correctly.
