6. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your amplifier:

  1. Speaker Connection:
    • Ensure the amplifier is turned off and unplugged.
    • Connect your passive speakers to the "SPEAKERS OUTPUT" terminals on the rear panel. Match the positive (+) terminal on the amplifier to the positive (+) terminal on your speaker, and the negative (-) to the negative (-).
    • The amplifier supports speakers with an impedance of 4-16 ohms.
  2. Audio Source Connection:
    • For Wired Devices (TV, CD Player, etc.): Connect your audio device's output to the "AUX Input" or "Line Input" RCA jacks on the rear panel using appropriate RCA cables.
    • For USB/SD Card: Insert your USB flash drive or SD card into the respective slots on the front panel.
    • For FM Radio: Connect the included FM antenna to the "FM ANT" jack on the rear panel. Extend the antenna for better reception.
  3. Power Connection:
    • Connect the provided AC power cable to the "AC POWER INPUT" on the rear panel of the amplifier.
    • Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard 110V AC wall outlet.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power Button on the front panel to turn the amplifier on or off. The display will illuminate when powered on.

7.2 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button on the front panel or the remote control to cycle through the available input modes: Bluetooth, USB, SD, Line (AUX), and FM Radio. The selected mode will be shown on the display.

  1. Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode using the MODE button. The display will show "BLUE" or similar.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), search for Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select "BT-298A+" from the list of available devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the amplifier.
  5. To switch to another mode, first disconnect the Bluetooth connection on your audio device, then press the MODE button on the amplifier.
