The camgeet KVM Switch (Model: KVM Switch 3 Monitors 4 Computers 403DH2) is designed to allow up to four computers to share a single set of three monitors, a keyboard, mouse, and other USB 3.0 peripherals. This device supports high-resolution video output up to 4K@60Hz and 2K@120Hz, making it suitable for demanding visual applications. Setup Instructions
To ensure proper functionality, each computer connected to the KVM switch requires specific cable connections for video and USB data. Please follow the steps below for a successful setup:
- Power Connection: Connect the provided 12V power adapter to the DC/12V port on the KVM switch and plug it into a power outlet.
- Monitor Connections: Connect your three monitors to the KVM switch's output ports (OUT A, OUT B, OUT C) using appropriate HDMI and DisplayPort cables.
- Computer Connections (Per PC): For each computer (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4), connect the following cables to the corresponding input ports on the KVM switch:
- Two HDMI cables to the HDMI input ports (e.g., INPUT A1, INPUT B1 for PC1).
- One DisplayPort cable to the DP input port (e.g., INPUT C1 for PC1).
- One USB 3.0 cable from your computer's USB port to the KVM switch's USB 3.0 input port (e.g., USB 3.0 for PC1). This cable enables keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripheral sharing.
Note: If your PC lacks the required 2 HDMI + 1 DisplayPort outputs, adapters (e.g., DP to HDMI, USB-C to DP/HDMI) may be necessary. Ensure all video and USB cables are securely connected for each computer.
- Peripheral Connections: Connect your keyboard, mouse, printer, USB flash drive, or other USB 3.0 devices to the integrated USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.
- Wired Remote (Optional): If desired, connect the wired remote control to the designated port on the KVM switch for convenient switching.

Operating Instructions
The KVM switch offers multiple methods for switching between connected computers and managing display modes.
Switching Between Computers
- Front Panel Buttons: Press the corresponding PC1, PC2, PC3, or PC4 button on the front panel of the KVM switch to select the desired computer. An LED indicator will illuminate next to the active computer.
- Wired Remote Control: Use the included wired remote control to switch between computers. Simply press the button on the remote to cycle through the connected PCs.

Display Modes
The KVM switch supports two primary display modes for your triple monitor setup:
- Extended Mode: This mode allows you to display three different screens across your three monitors, extending your desktop workspace.
- Mirror Mode: This mode duplicates the same content across all three monitors.
You can typically switch between these display modes using your computer's operating system display settings (e.g., Windows + P shortcut on Windows, or Display Preferences on macOS/Linux).

EDID Emulation
The KVM switch features EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) emulation on its HDMI ports. This technology helps maintain display settings and prevents screen rearrangement when switching between computers, ensuring a smoother transition. Please note that DisplayPort does not support EDID emulation on this device.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your KVM switch, please follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the KVM switch. Avoid using liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive solvents, as these can damage the device.
- Environment: Place the KVM switch in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, or dust. Ensure there is adequate airflow around the unit.
- Cable Management: Keep cables organized and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension, which can damage the cables or ports.
- Power Off When Not in Use: If the KVM switch will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to power it off and disconnect it from the power source.
Troubleshooting

- No Display/Incorrect Resolution:

- Check your computer's display settings to ensure the correct resolution and refresh rate are selected (up to 4K@60Hz or 2K@120Hz).
- If using adapters (e.g., USB-C to DP/HDMI), ensure they are compatible and functioning correctly. Some USB-C to USB cables may not work for Mac connections; a hardware USB to USB-C adapter is recommended.
- Try unplugging and replugging all cables, including power, to reset connections.
- Note that final resolution is subject to graphic cards, monitors, cables, and adapters.
- Keyboard/Mouse/USB Devices Not Working:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 cables are securely connected from each computer to the KVM switch's USB input ports.
- Verify that your USB peripherals are connected to the USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
- Try connecting the USB devices directly to the computer to confirm they are functional.
- Some operating systems, particularly Linux, might require specific drivers or configurations for USB devices when routed through a KVM.
- If issues persist, try different USB ports on the KVM or different USB cables.
- Switching Delays or Instability:
- Ensure all cables are of good quality and within recommended lengths.
- Power cycle the KVM switch and all connected computers.
- For macOS users, sometimes a restart of the macOS system is required after switching to ensure all three monitors are recognized and active. This may be an OS-specific behavior rather than a KVM issue.
