Installation
This filter is designed for easy replacement within the compatible FTP-E-UR02 Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter system. Refer to your main system's manual for specific instructions on accessing and replacing filter cartridges.
General Filter Replacement Steps:
- Turn off the water supply to the reverse osmosis system.
- Depressurize the system if necessary, following the main system's instructions.
- Carefully remove the old C2 filter cartridge by twisting or unlocking it as per your system's design.
- Insert the new topzee C2 filter cartridge, ensuring it is securely seated and locked into place.
- Restore water supply and check for leaks.
- Flush the new filter as recommended by your main system's manual (typically for a few minutes) to remove any carbon fines.

Operating
The C2 Post Carbon Filter operates passively within your reverse osmosis system. Once installed, it continuously filters water as it passes through, improving taste and odor. No direct user operation is required for the filter itself during normal use.
Maintenance
Resetting the Filter Cartridge After Replacement (for compatible systems with reset function):
After replacing the C2 filter, if your FTP-E-UR02 system has a filter life indicator, you may need to reset it. Follow these steps:
- Enter Reset Mode: Press and hold both the Reset button and the Select button for 3 seconds.
- Select Cartridge to Reset: Press the Select button to choose the filter cartridge you wish to reset. The corresponding indicator light (e.g., C2, RO, EPC) will flash, and '888' will display its remaining lifespan.
- Reset Lifespan: After selecting the correct cartridge, press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds to reset the cartridge's life to 100%.
- Exit: The system will automatically exit reset mode after 10 seconds of inactivity.
Note: After resetting, the system may flash continuously, indicating that cleaning of the main unit might be needed. Refer to your main system's manual for cleaning procedures.
Troubleshooting
As the C2 filter is a passive component, most issues will relate to the overall reverse osmosis system. If you experience problems such as reduced water flow, unusual taste, or system errors, please refer to the troubleshooting section of your main FTP-E-UR02 Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter system manual. Ensure the filter is installed correctly and has not exceeded its recommended lifespan.
