2. Setup Guide
2.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The power cord and instruction manual are located in the waste bin on top of the litter box. Place the litter box on a flat, stable surface. Its compact design allows for placement in various locations, including cat houses or furniture.
2.2 Adding Cat Litter
The DOEL Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box is compatible with various types of cat litter, including bentonite, tofu, mixed, and mineral cat litter. Ensure the litter has good clumping properties for optimal cleaning. Do not overfill the litter area, as this can interfere with the dumping process and cause litter to be discarded prematurely.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Automatic Operation
Once set up, the DOEL litter box operates automatically. After your cat uses the litter box, the machine will initiate a cleaning cycle after a set delay (configurable via the app). The internal barrel rotates to sift the litter, separating waste into the sealed waste bin.
3.2 Safety Features in Operation
The litter box is equipped with an infrared detection radar and four sets of gravity sensors. If a cat approaches or enters the litter box during a cleaning cycle, the machine will immediately pause operation to ensure the cat's safety. Operation resumes once the cat has left the vicinity.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for optimal performance and hygiene of your DOEL Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box.
4.1 Emptying the Waste Bin
The waste bin is equipped with an automatic flip door that seals during cleaning to prevent odor and leakage. When the app notifies you that the waste bin is full, or approximately every 5-7 days for one cat, it's time to change the waste bag. Simply open the top cover, remove the full bag, and replace it with a new one. The included litter mat (19.6*15.7 inches) helps collect scattered litter, keeping your floor clean.
4.2 Disassembly for Cleaning
The DOEL litter box is designed for truly easy disassembly and cleaning. Most components can be removed without tools for thorough washing.
- Remove the pedal at the entrance.
- Open the buckle at the back of the unit.
- The entire bucket compartment can then be removed from the base.
- The bottom tray (TPE) and the T-shaped filter are detachable for separate cleaning.
