6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Regularly wipe the camera lens and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. This ensures clear video quality and efficient solar charging.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the camera's surface or lens.

6.2 Battery Care

The camera's built-in battery is continuously charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel remains unobstructed and receives adequate sunlight. In prolonged periods of low sunlight, the battery may deplete, requiring manual charging via the Type-C cable.

6.3 Firmware Updates

Periodically check the app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Camera Not Connecting to App

  • Check Cellular Signal: Ensure the camera is in an area with good 4G LTE cellular coverage.
  • Data Plan: Verify that your cellular data plan is active and has sufficient data.
  • Reboot Camera: Power off and then power on the camera.
  • App Version: Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.
  • Important Note: This camera operates exclusively on 4G LTE cellular networks and does not support Wi-Fi connectivity. Any attempts to connect via Wi-Fi will fail.

7.2 Battery Not Charging / Low Battery

  • Solar Panel Placement: Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive direct sunlight for several hours daily and is not obstructed by shade, dirt, or debris.
  • Solar Panel Connection: Verify the solar panel cable is securely connected to the camera.
  • Manual Charge: If the battery is critically low, bring the camera indoors and charge it fully using the Type-C cable.

7.3 Poor Video Quality

  • Clean Lens: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from smudges or dirt.
  • Cellular Signal Strength: A weak 4G LTE signal can affect live view and recording quality. Try repositioning the camera.
  • App Settings: Check video resolution settings in the app; ensure it's set to 2K for optimal quality.

7.4 False Motion Alerts

  • Adjust Sensitivity: Reduce the motion detection sensitivity in the app settings.
  • Detection Zones: Configure specific detection zones to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant movement (e.g., swaying trees).
  • AI Human Analysis: Ensure AI human analysis is enabled to filter out non-human movements.
