4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Physical Installation

  5. Connect Bluetooth Cable: Connect one end of the included Bluetooth cable to the 9-pin F_USB header on the WiFi card and the other end to an available F_USB header on your motherboard. This connection is essential for Bluetooth functionality.
  6. Attach Antennas: Screw the two detachable antennas onto the connectors on the back of the WiFi card. Adjust their orientation for optimal signal reception.
  7. Close PC Case: Reattach the side panel of your computer case and reconnect the power cable.

5.1. Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen).
  2. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear. Select your desired network.
  3. Click Connect. If prompted, enter the network security key (password).
  4. Your computer should now be connected to the Wi-Fi network.

The NEWFAST AXE5400 supports tri-band connectivity (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz). Your system will automatically connect to the optimal band based on network availability and configuration. Remember, the 6GHz band is exclusive to Windows 11.

5.2. Bluetooth Device Pairing

Ensure the Bluetooth cable is correctly connected to your motherboard's F_USB header for Bluetooth functionality.

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices (Windows 11) or Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices (Windows 10).
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is turned On.
  3. Click Add device or Add Bluetooth or other device.
  4. Select Bluetooth from the options.
  5. Put your Bluetooth device into pairing mode.
  6. Select your device from the list and follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.
