5. Setup
Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included).

- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards and lift it off.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
6. Pairing Instructions
The remote control does not come pre-paired and must be paired with your adjustable bed base's control box. This remote is compatible with OKIN Control Boxes CB.13, CB.15, CB.23, CB.11, and CB.12.20. Ensure your control box model matches one of these.
- Ensure the bed base is plugged into a working power outlet.
- Locate the pairing button on your bed base's control box. This button is typically small and may be recessed.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the control box for approximately 3-5 seconds until you hear a beep or see an indicator light flash.
- Immediately after releasing the control box button, press and hold the PAIR button on your remote control for 3-5 seconds.
- Release the PAIR button. The remote and control box should now be paired. You may hear another beep or see the indicator light on the control box stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
- Test the remote by pressing various function buttons (e.g., Head Up/Down). If the bed responds, pairing is complete.
Important: If pairing fails, repeat the steps. Ensure the remote and control box are within close proximity during the pairing process. Compatibility is not guaranteed if the buttons and control box model do not match the specified OKIN models.
7. Operating Instructions
Once paired, your remote control is ready for use. Point the remote towards the bed base and press the desired function button.
