Setup

1. Charging the Camera

1. Locate the Micro-USB port on the side of the camera.
2. Connect the provided Micro-USB cable to the camera and a compatible USB power source.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charge until the light indicates a full charge.

2. Loading ZINK Photo Paper

1. Open the paper compartment door on the camera.
2. Insert the blue calibration sheet (barcode side down) that comes with each pack of ZINK paper. This sheet helps calibrate the printer for optimal color.
3. Load a pack of 2x3 inch ZINK photo paper into the compartment with the glossy side facing up. Do not load more than one 10-pack of paper at a time.
4. Close the paper compartment door securely. The blue calibration sheet will print first.

Operating Instructions

1. Turning On/Off

• To turn on the camera, press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates.
• To turn off the camera, press and hold the power button again until the indicator light turns off.

2. Taking a Photo

1. Aim the camera at your subject using the viewfinder.
2. Press the shutter button firmly to capture the image.
3. The camera will automatically print the photo. Avoid obstructing the printing slot during this process.

3. Saving Photos to MicroSD

• Insert a MicroSD card (up to 32GB, not included) into the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
• Photos taken will automatically be saved to the MicroSD card in addition to being printed.

4. Automatic Flash

• The camera features an automatic flash that activates in low-light conditions to ensure proper exposure.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Printer

To maintain print quality, it is recommended to clean the printer rollers periodically. Use the blue calibration sheet provided with your ZINK paper for this purpose.

1. Mark a 1-inch line on the back (non-glossy side) of a piece of ZINK paper.
2. Peel and cut off the top portion of the paper along the marked line.
3. Load this modified paper into the camera with the glossy side up.
4. The camera will slowly pull the paper out, cleaning the rollers in the process.

Troubleshooting

Camera Not Responding / Freezing

• If the camera becomes unresponsive, locate the reset button. This is a small pinhole on the side of the camera.
• Using a thin pin or paperclip, gently press and hold the reset button for a few seconds.
• The camera should restart.

Poor Print Quality

• Ensure you are using genuine ZINK Zero Ink Photo Paper.
• Perform a printer cleaning cycle as described in the Maintenance section.
• Check if the blue calibration sheet was inserted correctly with the latest pack of paper.
• Ensure the camera battery is sufficiently charged.

Photo Not Printing

• Verify that there is ZINK photo paper loaded correctly in the compartment.
• Check the battery level; a low battery may prevent printing.
• Ensure the printing slot is not obstructed.
