3. Setup Guide
3.1. Powering On the Units
- Connect one AC adapter to the baby unit (camera) and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect the second AC adapter to the parent unit and plug it into a power outlet.
- Allow both units to power on and establish a connection. The LINK indicator on the parent unit will illuminate when connected.
3.2. Camera Placement
Place the baby unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby's crib or play area. Ensure it is out of reach of children and at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the crib to prevent entanglement hazards.

For remote access and additional features, download the MyVTech Baby Plus app:
- Search for "MyVTech Baby Plus" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Download and install the app.
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your baby unit with your smartphone or tablet. This typically involves connecting to your home Wi-Fi network.

4.2. Camera Control and Viewing
- Pan & Tilt: Use the directional buttons on the parent unit or the app to remotely pan (360 degrees) and tilt (105 degrees vertical) the camera for optimal viewing.
- Zoom: The camera features a 2K CMOS sensor. Use the zoom function (up to 24x local zoom from the viewer, 10x remote zoom via app) to get a closer look at your baby.
- Night Vision: The monitor automatically switches to enhanced black and white night vision in low light conditions, providing clear visibility without disturbing your baby.

4.3. Audio and Communication
- Two-Way Talk: Press and hold the "TALK" button on the parent unit or use the microphone icon in the app to speak to your baby.
- Soothing Sounds & Lullabies: Access the menu on the parent unit or the app to play from five calming melodies and five soft ambient sounds to soothe your baby.

- Temperature Sensor: Monitor the nursery's temperature directly from the parent unit or the app to ensure a comfortable environment.
- Motion & Sound Detection: Receive alerts on your parent unit or smartphone when motion or sound is detected in the nursery.
- Multi-Color Night Light: Control the adaptive and dimmable multi-color night light through the camera, parent viewer, or mobile app to create a serene sleep environment.
4.5. Battery Life
The parent unit is equipped with a 5,000mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to 13 hours of continuous video streaming or up to 19 hours of audio-only streaming on a single charge.

5. Maintenance
