3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:

  • Tree sections (4 pieces)
  • Metal tree stand
  • Replacement bulbs
  • Spare fuses

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your artificial Christmas tree:

  1. Assemble the Tree Stand: Open the metal tree stand and place it on a flat, stable surface. Tighten the eye bolt on the stand to secure the tree trunk.
  2. Insert Bottom Section: Carefully insert the bottom section of the tree into the assembled stand. Ensure it is firmly seated and straight.
  3. Connect Middle Sections: Continue by inserting the subsequent tree sections into the section below it. The tree features hinged branch construction for easy assembly. Ensure each section's electrical connection is securely plugged into the section below it.
  4. Insert Top Section: Place the final top section onto the tree.
  5. Fluff the Branches: Once all sections are assembled, begin to 'fluff' the branches. Branches are compressed for shipment and require shaping to achieve the desired full appearance. Work from the bottom up, spreading out each individual branch tip to fill any gaps.
  6. Connect to Power: Plug the tree's power cord into a standard 120-volt electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Northlight Pre-Lit Christmas Tree is designed for simple operation.

  • Power On/Off: Once assembled and plugged into a power source, the tree's lights will illuminate. To turn off the lights, simply unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Light Features: The tree is pre-lit with 845 multi-color LED lights, including concave wide-angle mini LEDs and 40mm globe lights. These lights are designed to stay cool to the touch and use 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs.

6. Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your artificial Christmas tree.

  • Cleaning: To clean the tree, gently dust the branches with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the flocking or electrical components.
  • Bulb Replacement: The tree comes with replacement bulbs. If a bulb needs to be replaced, carefully remove the old bulb and insert a new one of the same type. The LED bulbs are durable and non-glass.
  • Fuse Replacement: Spare fuses are included. If the entire light string fails, check the fuse in the plug. Refer to the instructions on the light string tag for fuse replacement.
  • Storage: Before storing, ensure the tree is completely unplugged and dry. Disassemble the tree in reverse order of assembly. Gently compress the branches. Store the tree sections and stand in their original packaging or a suitable storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Lights do not illuminate.Power cord not plugged in, loose connection between sections, blown fuse, or faulty bulb.Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check all connections between tree sections. Inspect and replace any blown fuses in the plug. Replace any faulty bulbs (note: if one LED bulb burns out, the rest will stay lit).
Tree appears sparse after assembly.Branches are compressed from packaging.Spend time 'fluffing' each branch and individual tip, working from the inside out and bottom to top, to achieve a full appearance.
Tree is unstable.Tree stand not properly assembled or tightened.Ensure the metal tree stand is fully opened and the eye bolt is securely tightened around the tree trunk. Place the tree on a level surface.
