1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and its base from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX fill line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Positioning: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 127V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Fill the Kettle: Press the lid release button or pull the lid handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water, ensuring it is between the MIN and MAX fill lines. Do not overfill.
  2. Close the Lid: Close the lid securely until it clicks into place.
  3. Place on Base: Position the kettle firmly onto its power base.
  4. Start Boiling: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the handle downwards. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the kettle is heating.
  5. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will extinguish.
  6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water. Always hold the handle firmly.
  7. Manual Shut-off: To stop the boiling process before it automatically shuts off, simply lift the kettle from its base or push the ON/OFF switch upwards.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric kettle.

General Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste.

  1. Fill the kettle with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
  3. Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
