Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch to open it.
- Insert two (2) AA ALKALINE batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Important: Do not use rechargeable batteries. Only use AA ALKALINE batteries.
2. Pairing the Remote Control with Your TV
The MR20GA Magic Remote requires pairing with your LG Smart TV before use to enable full functionality, including voice control and pointer features.
- Ensure your LG Smart TV is powered on.
- Point the remote control towards your TV.
- Press the Wheel (OK) button (the center button of the navigation wheel) on the remote control.
- A message indicating successful pairing should appear on your TV screen. If pairing fails, try pressing the Back button and the Home button simultaneously for 5 seconds to unpair, then repeat step 3.
Once paired, the remote's pointer should appear on the TV screen, and voice control will be active.
