This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the lock using the provided Type-C charging cable. The charging port is located on the side of the lock. A full charge typically takes about 1 hour.

3.2 App Installation and Pairing

1. Download the eSmartLock app from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
4. Within the app, select the option to add a new device. The app will search for nearby Anweller P2BF-B locks.
5. Select your lock from the discovered devices to pair.

3.3 Fingerprint Registration

After pairing with the app, you can register your fingerprints. The app interface is designed for easy operation.

1. In the eSmartLock app, navigate to 'Fingerprint Management'.
2. Follow the prompts to add a new fingerprint. You will be asked to repeatedly place your finger on the lock's fingerprint sensor from different angles until registration is complete.
3. You can register multiple fingerprints for different users or different fingers.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Unlocking with Fingerprint

To unlock the device using your registered fingerprint:

1. Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor.
2. The lock will unlock within 0.2 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

4.2 Unlocking with Mobile App

To unlock the device using the eSmartLock app:

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the lock is within range.
2. Open the eSmartLock app.
3. Select your lock from the device list.
4. Tap the 'Unlock' button within the app.

4.3 Unlocking with Apple Watch

The lock also supports unlocking via Apple Watch through the eSmartLock app.

1. Ensure your Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone and the eSmartLock app is installed on both devices.
2. Open the eSmartLock app on your Apple Watch.
3. Select your lock and tap 'Unlock'.

4.4 Locking the Device

To lock the device, simply insert the cable shackle end back into the main body of the lock. It will automatically secure.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging

The lock features a Type-C charging port. Connect the provided Type-C cable to a USB power source to charge. The battery indicator lights will show the charging status.

5.2 Battery Indicator

The lock is equipped with an exclusive battery indicator to check the power level at any time. A low battery reminder will activate when the battery level drops below 20%.

5.3 Cleaning and Storage

Wipe the lock with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the lock in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

• Lock not responding: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a Type-C charger for at least 15 minutes.
• Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try different angles during registration and unlocking. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
• App connection issues: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the lock is within range. Restart the app or your phone if necessary.
• Unable to unlock via app: Check the lock's battery level. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
