Purging Air from the Hydraulic System

Before initial use, it is recommended to purge any air that may be trapped in the hydraulic system during shipping or storage. This ensures optimal performance.

  1. Turn the release valve counter-clockwise one full turn to open it.
  2. Pump the handle 10-15 full strokes to force air out of the system.
  3. Turn the release valve clockwise until it is firmly closed.
  4. The jack should now be ready for operation. If the jack does not lift properly, repeat the purging process.

4. Operating Instructions

Lifting a Vehicle

  1. Prepare the vehicle: Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface. Engage the parking brake and place the transmission in 'Park' (automatic) or the lowest gear (manual). Block the wheels that are not being lifted.
  2. Position the jack: Roll the floor jack under the vehicle, positioning the saddle directly under the manufacturer's recommended lifting point. Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for specific lifting points.
  3. Close the release valve: Turn the handle clockwise until the release valve is firmly closed.
  4. Lift the vehicle: Pump the handle up and down to raise the vehicle to the desired height. The dual-piston pump allows for quick lifting. Alternatively, use the built-in foot pedal for hands-free lifting.
  5. Secure with jack stands: Once the vehicle is at the desired height, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's frame or designated support points. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the jack stands by gently turning the release valve counter-clockwise. Ensure the vehicle is stable on the jack stands before proceeding with any work.

Lowering a Vehicle

  1. Raise slightly: If the vehicle is on jack stands, slightly raise the vehicle with the floor jack to remove the load from the jack stands.
  2. Remove jack stands: Carefully remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.
  3. Lower the vehicle: Slowly turn the release valve counter-clockwise to gradually lower the vehicle. Do not open the valve too quickly, as this can cause the vehicle to drop rapidly.
  4. Remove the jack: Once the vehicle is fully lowered and resting on its wheels, remove the floor jack.
