4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal 4000mAh battery. Use the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included) or the car charger.

  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, car charger).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color when fully charged.

4.2 Attaching the Clips

Select the appropriate clip (long 360° or short 360°) for your intended use and attach it to the camera's mounting slot. The clips allow for flexible positioning on clothing or gear.

4.3 Initial Power On and Settings

Press and hold the Power button to turn on the camera. Upon first use, you may need to set the date and time. Navigate through the menu using the control buttons to adjust settings such as resolution, loop recording duration, and other preferences.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Video Recording

To start recording video, press the Record button. The camera will capture footage in 2K resolution (2560x1440 pixels) at 30 frames per second. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

5.2 Loop Recording

The KJ23PRO supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest files when the storage is full. By default, video segments are 10 minutes long. You can adjust the segment duration in the camera settings, with a maximum of 30 minutes per segment.

5.3 Taking Photos

To capture a still image, press the Photo button. The camera will take a 38-megapixel photo.

5.4 Night Vision Mode

The camera is equipped with five infrared lights for clear recording in low-light conditions or complete darkness. Night vision can be activated manually or set to automatic in the camera's menu.

To transfer recorded files, connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. Ensure the camera is powered on before connecting. It will appear as a removable disk drive, allowing you to access and copy your video and photo files.

The KJ23PRO can also function as a driving recorder. Use the included car mount and car charger to secure and power the camera in your vehicle. Its loop recording feature is ideal for continuous dashcam use.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2 Storage
