2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Do not immerse the kettle, power base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
  • Do not operate the kettle if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way.
  • Place the kettle on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop to prevent tipping.

  • Always ensure the lid is securely closed during operation.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials from the kettle and power base.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level. Boil the water (see Operating Instructions) and then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.

5. Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle:

  • Remove the kettle from its power base.
  • Open the lid.
  • Fill the kettle with fresh water, ensuring it is between the MIN and MAX fill marks. Do not overfill.
  • Close the lid securely.
  • Place the kettle back onto the power base.

Using the Soft Touch Control Panel:

  1. Power On: Plug the power base into a suitable electrical outlet. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Select Temperature: Press the desired temperature button (70°C, 80°C, 90°C, 100°C). The selected temperature will be displayed, and the kettle will begin heating.
  3. Boil Function (100°C): Press the '100°C' button to quickly boil water to 100°C. The kettle will automatically shut off once boiling is complete.
  4. Keep Warm Function: After selecting a temperature and the water reaches it, press the 'Warm' button. The kettle will maintain the selected temperature for up to 2 hours. To deactivate, press the 'Warm' button again or lift the kettle from the base.
  5. Power Off: To turn off the kettle manually, press the power button (). The kettle will automatically shut off when the set temperature is reached or if it boils dry.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your kettle.

Exterior Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  • Ensure the power base and cord remain dry.

Interior Cleaning and Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descaling regularly will improve performance and extend the kettle's life.

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if limescale is heavy.
  3. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. For stubborn deposits, a commercial descaling agent designed for kettles can be used following the product's instructions.

7. Troubleshooting
