1. Introduction

The Mobility Lab Omega is a versatile and ergonomic wireless Bluetooth mouse designed for both professional and home use. It combines a stylish design with practical features and advanced technology to enhance your computing experience.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Battery Installation

The Mobility Lab Omega mouse requires batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Connecting the Mouse

The mouse offers two connection methods: 2.4GHz wireless via receiver or Bluetooth.

2.2.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection (via Receiver)

This method provides an ultra-stable connection and is plug-and-play, requiring no software installation.

  1. Locate the 2-in-1 USB and USB-C receiver, typically stored within the mouse's battery compartment.
  2. Plug the appropriate end of the receiver (USB-A or USB-C) into an available port on your computer or device.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on its underside.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your device.

2.2.2 Bluetooth Connection

For quick and hassle-free configuration without a receiver.

  1. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on its underside.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (refer to the diagram in the Operating section for location) until the indicator light starts blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings.
  4. Search for new devices and select "Mobility Lab Omega" from the list.
  5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

3. Operating the Mouse

3.1 DPI Adjustment

The mouse features an adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) setting, allowing you to change cursor sensitivity on the fly.

Press the DPI button, located behind the scroll wheel, to cycle through the available sensitivity settings: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI. This allows you to switch between precision tasks and faster navigation with a single click.

3.2 Side Buttons

The mouse is equipped with two intuitive side buttons for enhanced productivity.

By default, these buttons function as 'Next' and 'Back' for web browsing or navigating folders, simplifying your user experience.

3.3 Quiet Clicks

The Mobility Lab Omega mouse features ultra-quiet click technology, minimizing noise during use. This makes it ideal for quiet environments such as offices, libraries, or during late-night work sessions.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Power Saving Mode

The mouse is equipped with an intelligent energy-saving system. When not in use for a period, it automatically switches to standby mode to conserve battery power. To reactivate, simply move the mouse or click a button.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Mobility Lab Omega mouse, try the following solutions:

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Check if the mouse is turned on.
    • Replace the batteries.
    • For 2.4GHz connection: Ensure the receiver is securely plugged into a working USB/USB-C port. Try a different port.
    • For Bluetooth connection: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse is paired. Try re-pairing the mouse.
  • Cursor movement is erratic or slow:
    • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
    • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (not highly reflective or transparent).
    • Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button.
  • Side buttons not working:
    • Ensure the mouse is properly connected.
    • Some applications may not support the default 'Next'/'Back' functions.
  • Connection drops frequently:
    • Move the mouse closer to the receiver or your Bluetooth-enabled device.
    • Avoid sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects).
