4. Before First Use / Setup

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
  2. Check that all parts are present and in good condition.

4.2 Cleaning Before First Use

  1. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
  2. Wash the frying basket and pan in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong the life of the non-stick coating.

5.1 Preheating

Preheating is recommended for best results, especially for foods that require a crispy exterior.

  1. Plug the appliance into a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on the display.
  3. Set the desired temperature using the temperature control buttons.
  4. Set the timer for 3-5 minutes for preheating.
  5. Press the Power button again to start preheating. The appliance will beep when preheating is complete.

5.2 Cooking Food

  1. Pull out the frying pan/drawer by the handle.
  2. Place food into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  3. Slide the frying pan/drawer back into the appliance until it clicks into place.
  4. Set the desired temperature and cooking time using the control panel. Alternatively, select a pre-set program.
  5. Press the Power button to start cooking.
  6. Some foods may require shaking or tossing halfway through cooking. To do this, carefully pull out the drawer, shake the basket, and reinsert it. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  7. When the timer reaches zero, the appliance will beep, indicating cooking is complete.
  8. Carefully pull out the drawer and remove the cooked food. Use tongs or heat-resistant utensils.
  9. Unplug the appliance after use.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
  3. Remove the frying basket and pan. Wash them in hot, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. The ceramic non-stick coating is easy to clean.
  4. For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and pan in hot water with some dish soap for about 10-15 minutes before cleaning.
  5. Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Avoid getting water into the heating element area.
  6. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or reassembling.
