2. Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Ensure the power supply is disconnected at the circuit breaker before installation or maintenance.
• All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or the National Electric Code (NEC). If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
• Do not use this fixture with a dimmer light switch or a fan control switch. It is designed to work with a standard 120V AC wall switch. The dimming and fan speed functions are controlled by the provided remote or the smart application.
• Ensure the mounting structure can support the weight of the ceiling fan.
• Keep hands, hair, and clothing clear of the fan blades when the fan is operating.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the unit yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

3. Package Contents

4. Installation

The ropelux flush mount ceiling light is designed for easy installation as it comes pre-assembled, eliminating the need to join multiple frame pieces. Follow these steps for a safe and secure setup:

1. Prepare for Installation:
   • Turn off power at the circuit breaker to the outlet box where you will be installing the fan.
   • Ensure the existing electrical box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fan's weight.
2. Mount the Bracket:
   • Attach the metal mounting bracket to the electrical outlet box using the provided screws.
3. Make Electrical Connections:
   • Carefully connect the fan's wires to the household wiring using the provided wire nuts. Follow standard wiring color codes (e.g., black to black, white to white, ground to ground).
   • Utilize the safety rope to temporarily hang the ceiling fan to the metal bracket during wiring, ensuring stability and ease of connection.
4. Secure the Fixture:
   • Once wiring is complete, carefully lift the fan fixture and align it with the mounting bracket. Secure the fixture to the bracket using the designated screws.
5. Restore Power:
   • Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Important Note on Wall Switches:

• The dimmable function of this fixture is controlled by low voltage direct current. Most US dimmers work with 120V AC, therefore, this fixture does NOT work with local dimmer or fan switches.
• Please use the provided remote or the smart application to adjust brightness and fan speed.
• The fixture works with a regular wall switch to turn the light on/off. Pressing the wall switch within 5 seconds can cycle the light color temperatures. If more than 5 seconds pass, the current mode will be saved for the next operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control Operation

The included remote control provides full functionality for your ropelux ceiling fan and light. Ensure 2 AAA batteries are installed (not included).

• Light ON/OFF: Turns the light on or off.
• 6500K/4000K/3000K: Cycles through preset color temperatures (Cool White, Neutral White, Warm White).
• Color Temperature +/-: Adjusts the color temperature steplessly.
• Brightness +/-: Adjusts the light brightness steplessly from 10% to 100%.
• Fan Forward/Reverse (F/R): Changes the fan's rotation direction for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow).
• 1-6 Fan Speed: Selects one of six fan speeds.
• 2H Timer: Sets a 2-hour timer for the fan and light to turn off automatically.
• Natural Wind: Activates a mode that simulates natural breeze by varying fan speed.
• Night Light Mode: Activates a low brightness, warm light setting.
• Light & Fan Off / Unpair: Turns off both light and fan. Can also be used for unpairing.
• FAN OFF: Turns off the fan.

5.2 Smart App Control Operation

For enhanced control and additional features, download the dedicated smart application to your smartphone or tablet.

• Search for the "ropelux" app (or specified app name in packaging) on your device's app store.
• Follow the in-app instructions to pair your ceiling fan with the application.
• The app allows for setting different modes, timer functions, and offers comprehensive control over light and fan settings.

5.3 Fan Operation

The fan features a powerful motor and 7 specially-angled curved blades to provide excellent airflow for rooms ranging from 160-270 sq.ft.

• Speed Control: Choose from 6 fan speeds using the remote or app.
  • Speeds 1-2: Soft wind, ideal for sleep.
  • Speeds 3-4: Natural wind, suitable for daily use.
  • Speeds 5-6: Cool wind, effective for exercise or strong cooling.
• Reversible Function: The fan has two directions of rotation to optimize comfort throughout the year.
  • Downward Airflow (Summer Mode): Creates a cooling effect.
  • Upward Airflow (Winter Mode): Helps circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling, improving room warmth and reducing humidity.

5.4 Light Operation

The integrated LED light offers versatile illumination with adjustable color temperature and brightness.

• Color Temperature (CCT) Changeable: The light provides 3 CCT options: 3000K (warm white), 4000K (natural white), and 6500K (bright white). You can cycle through these presets or adjust steplessly using the remote or app.
• Dimmable: Stepless dimming allows you to adjust the brightness from 10% to 100% to create the perfect ambiance. The light output is up to 5000 lumens.
• Anti-glare: Designed to be eye-friendly, providing high brightness without dazzling.

• Blade Inspection: Periodically check the fan blades for any dust buildup that might affect balance or airflow.
• Tightness Check: Occasionally check that all screws and connections are secure.
