3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the P16-HQ
The P16-HQ is designed for seamless integration into a Behringer Ultranet system. Connect a Cat 5 cable from your Behringer digital mixer or Ultranet distribution hub to the "IN" port on the P16-HQ. This single connection provides both power and 16 channels of digital audio.
For non-Ultranet systems, an analog-to-digital converter (sold separately) is required to convert analog audio signals into a digital format compatible with the P16-HQ.

3.2 Daisy-Chaining Multiple Units
Multiple P16-HQ units can be daisy-chained together using the "THRU" Ultranet port. Connect a Cat 5 cable from the "THRU" port of one P16-HQ to the "IN" port of the next unit. This allows for efficient distribution of audio and power to several personal mixers on stage.
3.3 Power Connection
Ensure the P16-HQ is connected to its dedicated 12V DC power supply. The power switch is located on the rear panel near the DC IN port.
