1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your EBL Platinum AGM Battery. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation. Proper installation and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your battery.
The EBL Platinum AGM Battery (Model: EB-AGM H6) is a high-performance, maintenance-free automotive battery designed for reliable starting power and sustained energy delivery. It features Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology for enhanced durability, vibration resistance, and a longer lifespan compared to traditional flooded batteries.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Batteries contain sulfuric acid and produce explosive gases. Always follow safety precautions.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves, when handling batteries.
- Do not smoke or allow open flames or sparks near the battery.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when working with batteries.
- Avoid contact with battery acid. In case of contact, flush immediately with water and seek medical attention.
- Do not short-circuit battery terminals.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
3. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are disconnected. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable first, then the positive (+) cable. Remove the old battery carefully.
3.1. Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your EBL Platinum AGM Battery, inspect the packaging and the battery for any signs of damage. If damage is observed, do not install the battery and contact customer support.

4. Operating the Battery
The EBL Platinum AGM Battery is designed for maintenance-free operation. Once installed, it functions as a standard automotive starting battery.
4.1. Initial Charge
While the battery comes pre-charged, it is recommended to fully charge it before the first use, especially if it has been stored for an extended period. Use a charger compatible with AGM batteries.
4.2. Temperature Performance
This AGM battery is engineered for extreme temperature resilience, operating flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 60°C (14°F to 140°F).

Figure 4.1: Image depicting a car on a road transitioning from snowy to sunny conditions, illustrating the battery's ability to perform in extreme temperatures ranging from 14°F (-10°C) to 140°F (60°C).
4.3. Charging Guidelines
For optimal battery life, ensure your vehicle's charging system is functioning correctly. If using an external charger, ensure it is specifically designed for AGM batteries and provides a stable voltage. The recommended charging temperature range is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F).
5. Maintenance
The EBL Platinum AGM Battery is a maintenance-free battery, meaning it does not require water refilling. However, periodic checks are recommended to ensure optimal performance.
- Terminal Inspection: Periodically check battery terminals for cleanliness and tightness. Clean any corrosion with a wire brush and baking soda solution, then rinse with water and dry.
- Casing Inspection: Inspect the battery casing for any cracks, bulges, or leaks. If any damage is found, the battery should be replaced.
- Battery Hold-Down: Ensure the battery is securely fastened in its tray to prevent vibration damage.
- Storage: If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place. AGM batteries have a low self-discharge rate, holding their charge 3-5 times longer than traditional batteries.
