5. Operating Instructions

5.1 EQ Modes

The soundbar features multiple EQ modes to optimize your listening experience for different content:

  • Movie Mode: Enhances background sound for an immersive cinematic experience.
  • Dialogue Mode: Strengthens human voices for clearer conversations.
  • Music Mode: Provides a higher volume output, with surround speakers playing music as the main bar.

You can switch between these modes using the EQ button on the remote control.

5.2 Dolby Atmos Settings

For an optimal 3D surround sound experience with Dolby Atmos content, ensure your TV's sound settings are configured correctly:

  • If your TV supports Dolby Atmos, select 'Dolby Atmos Compatibility' in your TV's expert sound settings.
  • Ensure your TV's digital audio format is set to 'Auto', 'Passthrough', or 'PCM'.

6. Placement Guidelines

Proper placement of your speakers is crucial for achieving the best surround sound experience:

  • Surround Speakers: For a better listening experience, the surround speakers should be placed at or near ear level, ideally behind the main listening position.
  • Soundbar: Position the soundbar directly in front of your TV, centered, to ensure clear dialogue and front-channel audio.
  • Subwoofer: The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, but optimal bass response is often achieved when placed in a corner or near a wall.

  2. Verify TV Audio Format: Access your TV's sound settings. Ensure the Digital Audio Format is set to 'Auto', 'Passthrough', or 'PCM'. Different TVs may have different setup steps for this.
  3. Confirm TV Audio Output: In your TV's sound settings, ensure the audio output is directed to the soundbar (e.g., 'Receiver (HDMI-eARC)', 'Optical', or 'AUX') and not 'TV Speaker'.
