This section addresses common issues you might encounter with the Grandstream GCC6011.

5.1 No Power

  • Check Power Cable: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the device and the power outlet.
  • Verify Outlet: Test the power outlet with another device to confirm it is functional.
  • Power Switch: Ensure the power switch on the rear of the device is in the "ON" position.

5.2 No Internet Connectivity

  • WAN Connection: Verify that the Ethernet cable from your modem/router is correctly plugged into the WAN port(s) of the GCC6011. Check the link/activity LEDs on the WAN port.
  • Modem/ISP Status: Confirm that your internet service provider (ISP) is operational and your modem is working correctly.
  • WAN Configuration: Log into the web UI and check the WAN settings (IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS). Ensure they are correctly configured for your ISP.
  • Firewall Rules: Temporarily disable firewall rules to see if they are blocking internet access. If so, reconfigure them appropriately.

5.3 Devices Not Connecting to LAN

  • Cable Connection: Ensure Ethernet cables are securely connected to both the GCC6011 LAN ports and the client devices. Check link/activity LEDs.
  • DHCP Server: Verify that the DHCP server on the GCC6011 is enabled and correctly configured to assign IP addresses to LAN clients.
  • IP Address Conflict: Check for any IP address conflicts on your network.
  • PoE Issues: If using PoE, ensure the connected device is PoE compatible and that PoE is enabled and providing sufficient power on the specific port.

5.4 Cannot Access Web UI

  • IP Address: Ensure you are using the correct IP address for the GCC6011. If the IP address was changed, try the new one.
  • Network Connection: Confirm your computer is on the same network segment as the GCC6011 (e.g., connected to a LAN port).
  • Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or try a different browser.
  • Reset: If all else fails, a factory reset may be necessary. Warning: A factory reset will erase all configurations. Use the reset button on the device (refer to Figure 1 for location) by pressing and holding it for approximately 10 seconds.
