2. Safety Information

Adherence to the following safety guidelines is crucial for preventing injury and damage to the unit. Always follow local codes and regulations.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the unit is connected to a grounded 115V, 60Hz, 1-phase power supply with a dedicated circuit. Do not use extension cords. Disconnect power before any service or cleaning.
  • Refrigerant: This unit uses R290 refrigerant. Servicing should only be performed by qualified personnel. Do not puncture the refrigerant lines.
  • Ventilation: Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow to the condenser. Blocked airflow can lead to reduced efficiency and unit failure.
  • Placement: Install the unit on a level, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • Cleaning: Use only mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage surfaces or leave residues.
  • Child Safety: Keep children away from the unit, especially during operation and maintenance.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the carrier immediately.

3.2 Placement

Position the refrigerator in a location with good air circulation. Allow at least 6 inches of clearance from walls or other obstructions for proper ventilation of the condenser coil. Ensure the floor is level and strong enough to support the unit's weight.

The interior is illuminated by energy-efficient LED lighting, enhancing product visibility. The lighting can typically be controlled via a switch on the control panel or near the light fixture.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Regular Cleaning

  • Interior: Clean regularly with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Remove shelves for easier cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe down the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads or cleaners.
  • Glass Doors: Use a glass cleaner for streak-free results.

5.2 Condenser Coil Cleaning

The condenser coil, located at the bottom of the unit, should be cleaned every 30 days or as needed. A dirty coil reduces efficiency and can lead to compressor failure. Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris.
