3. Assembly and Initial Setup

The Jasion JS2 PRO Electric Scooter comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial checks.

3.1 Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Release the folding latch mechanism.
  3. Carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is securely engaged.
  4. Adjust the handlebar height if applicable and secure it.

3.2 Initial Checks

  • Verify that both tires are properly inflated (if applicable, for solid tires ensure they are free from damage).
  • Test the brakes to ensure they respond effectively.
  • Confirm the headlight and taillight are functional.
  • Ensure all visible cables are securely connected and not pinched.

4. Charging the Battery

The scooter is equipped with a 360Wh high-capacity battery. Proper charging ensures optimal performance and battery longevity.

  • Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  • Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port, then plug the charger into a standard power outlet.
  • The charging indicator on the charger will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
  • Charging time is approximately 5-6 hours for a full charge.
  • Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.
  • Only use the official charger provided with your Jasion JS2 PRO scooter.

5. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the controls and riding modes before your first ride.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button on the display for a few seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

5.2 Speed Settings

The JS2 PRO offers 3 speed modes. Press the mode button to cycle through them:

  • Mode 1: Low speed (e.g., 4 MPH / 6 km/h) for beginners or crowded areas.
  • Mode 2: Medium speed (e.g., 9 MPH / 15 km/h) for balanced riding.
  • Mode 3: High speed (up to 20 MPH / 32 km/h) for experienced riders on open paths.

5.3 Riding the Scooter

  • Non-Zero Start: For safety, the scooter requires a slight push-off to initiate movement. Once the speed exceeds 1.8 MPH (3 km/h), you can use the accelerator to control the scooter's speed.
  • Use the accelerator lever on the right handlebar to increase speed.
  • Apply the brake lever on the left handlebar to slow down or stop.
  • Maintain a balanced posture and keep both hands on the handlebars while riding.

5.4 Smart App Integration

The Jasion JS2 PRO can connect to a smart app for personalized riding experience and additional features. Refer to the app's instructions for pairing and usage.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your scooter.

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or corrosive cleaning agents.
  • Ensure the charging port cover is closed to prevent water ingress.

6.2 Tire Care
