Assembly and Setup
The IKRA IBKH 52-1 comes with several attachments and components for its various functions. Follow these steps for proper assembly.
Included Components:
- 1x Power Unit (Engine)
- 1x Trimmer Attachment (with DA-F16 spool, 2x2m double line, 2.4mm)
- 1x Brushcutter Attachment (with 3-tooth blade)
- 1x Hedge Trimmer Attachment (with blade guard)
- 1x Pole Pruner Attachment (with OREGON chain 30019400 and blade guard)
- 1x 76cm Extension Unit
- 1x Comfortable Shoulder Strap
- 1x Assembly Instructions
Assembling Attachments:
- Connect the Shaft: The main shaft is divisible for compact storage. Connect the two sections of the aluminum tube (26mm diameter) using the quick-release fastener. Ensure it is securely locked.
- Attach the Desired Tool Head: Select the brushcutter, trimmer, hedge trimmer, or pole pruner attachment. Align the attachment with the main shaft and secure it firmly using the provided coupling mechanism. For extended reach, insert the 76cm extension unit between the main shaft and the tool head.
- Install Handles and Shoulder Strap: Adjust the ergonomic handle to a comfortable working position. Attach the comfortable shoulder strap to the designated points on the main shaft to distribute the tool's weight evenly across your shoulders and back.
- Fuel Mixture: Prepare the fuel mixture using unleaded regular gasoline and a special 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 40:1 (e.g., 1300 ml gasoline to 32.5 ml 2-stroke oil). Fill the 1300 ml fuel tank.
- Chain Oil (for Pole Pruner): If using the pole pruner, ensure the 120ml oil reservoir is filled with appropriate chain lubricant. Check the oil level indicator.

Operating Instructions
Starting the Engine (Easy Start System):
- Place the tool on a flat, stable surface.
- Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
- Set the choke lever to the 'START' position.
- Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine fires (usually 1-3 pulls).
- Once the engine briefly fires, move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
- Pull the starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before engaging the throttle.
Brushcutter & Grass Trimmer Operation:
The brushcutter and grass trimmer attachments are designed for clearing grass, weeds, and light undergrowth. The trimmer uses a line spool (DA-F16) with a cutting width of 420mm, featuring an impulse automatic line feed. For thicker vegetation, attach the 3-tooth blade, which offers a cutting circle of 255mm.
- Ensure the correct cutting attachment (line head or blade) is securely installed with its protective guard.
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands, using the shoulder strap for support.
- Start the engine and allow it to reach operating speed before beginning to cut.
- Move the cutting head in a sweeping motion, cutting from right to left for optimal debris ejection.
- For the line trimmer, tap the head gently on the ground to advance the line if needed.

Hedge Trimmer Operation:
The telescopic hedge trimmer features precision counter-rotating and hardened blades with a cutting length of 395mm and a cutting thickness of 23mm. The cutting angle can be adjusted to 12 positions, up to 170°, for optimal reach and comfort.
- Ensure the hedge trimmer attachment is securely fastened with its blade guard removed.
- Adjust the cutting angle to suit the hedge shape and your working position.
- Hold the tool firmly and make smooth, even passes along the hedge.
- Work from the bottom upwards for vertical cuts and from the outside inwards for horizontal cuts.

Pole Pruner Operation:
The pole pruner is equipped with an Oregon guide bar and a low-vibration chain, offering a cutting length of 255mm. It features 7-position angle adjustment up to 90° and automatic chain lubrication from a 120ml oil reservoir with a level indicator. The 76cm extension tube allows for a working height of up to 4 meters.
- Ensure the pole pruner attachment is securely installed and the chain oil reservoir is filled.
- Adjust the cutting angle for optimal access to branches.
- Always maintain a safe distance from the cutting chain.
- Make cuts in a controlled manner, allowing the chain to do the work. Avoid forcing the cut.
- Be aware of falling branches and plan your cuts to ensure they fall safely.
