Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
Step 1: Prepare the Area
Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all components on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
Step 2: Assemble the Headboard
Attach the headboard support legs to the upholstered headboard panel. Ensure all bolts are finger-tight at this stage.
The headboard height is adjustable to three positions: 36.2", 38.6", and 41". Select the desired height and secure the bolts firmly.
Step 3: Construct the Bed Frame Sides
Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard. Ensure the connections are secure before proceeding.
Step 4: Install the Slats
Place the wooden slats onto the designated support beams. Attach the plastic caps to the outer slats and then fix the slats on both sides of the bed frame.
The wooden slat system eliminates the need for a box spring.
Step 5: Assemble and Insert Storage Drawers
Assemble the three wire netting drawers according to the separate drawer assembly instructions. Once assembled, insert them into the designated spaces under the bed frame. The drawers are equipped with rollers for easy access.
Ensure there is at least 21.5 inches of clearance for nightstands to allow full access to the drawers.
Step 6: Final Tightening
Once all components are in place, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
Operation
Using the Storage Drawers
The three wire netting drawers are designed for convenient storage of bedding, clothing, or other bedroom essentials. Gently pull the drawers out using the integrated handles. Push them back in until they are fully recessed under the bed frame.
Adjusting the Headboard
To adjust the headboard height, loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to its support legs. Raise or lower the headboard to one of the three available positions (36.2", 38.6", or 41") and re-tighten the bolts securely.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the upholstered surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
