4. Setup

4.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the power button (center button on the top panel) for approximately 2 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the blue Bluetooth indicator light begins to blink. To power off, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the lights turn off.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the blue Bluetooth indicator light is blinking, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "BT207".
4. Select "BT207" to connect. Once successfully paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue indicator light will become solid.

4.3 Charging the Speaker

Connect the provided charging cable to the IN/OUT USB-C port on the speaker and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The red power bank indicator lights will illuminate to show the charging progress. All four lights will be solid when fully charged.

Press the power button once to check the current battery level of the power bank. The red indicator lights will show the charge level:

• 1 Light: 0-25%
• 2 Lights: 25-50%
• 3 Lights: 50-75%

6. Charging External Devices

The AFK Portable Bluetooth Speaker doubles as a power bank to charge your other devices.

1. Connect your device's charging cable to either the USB-A OUT port or the USB-C IN/OUT port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to your external device.
3. The speaker will automatically begin charging your device. The red indicator lights will show the remaining power bank charge.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the product with a soft and dry cloth. Do not use chemical detergents.
• To preserve battery lifespan, recharge the power bank at least once every 6 months.
• Avoid dropping, opening, disassembling, or crushing the product.
• Do not use near heat sources or liquids.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 No Power / Not Charging

• Ensure the speaker is adequately charged. Check the power level indicators.
• Verify that the charging cable is securely connected to both the speaker and the power source.
• Try using a different charging cable or power adapter to rule out faulty accessories.

8.2 Bluetooth Connection Issues

• Ensure the speaker is within the Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters) of your device.
• Turn off and then turn on the speaker and your Bluetooth device.
• If previously paired, try "forgetting" or "unpairing" the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and then re-pairing it.
• Ensure no other devices are actively connected to the speaker.

8.3 Poor Sound Quality

• Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and your device that could interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
• Check for any physical damage to the speaker's grille or internal components.
