5. Operating Instructions
Brewing coffee with your VEVOR machine is straightforward:
- Fill Water Tank: Open the lid of the water reservoir and fill it with fresh, cold water. The water tank capacity is 2.8 L (0.62 gal). Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Prepare Filter: Place one of the provided filter papers into the 304 stainless steel funnel.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Add your desired amount of coffee grounds into the filter paper. Adjust the quantity to achieve your preferred strength.
- Position Funnel and Carafe: Place the filled funnel securely into its designated slot. Ensure the thermal carafe is placed correctly on the warming plate beneath the funnel.
- Start Brewing: Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the brewing process has begun.
- Brewing Complete: The coffee maker will automatically stop brewing once the water tank is empty. The indicator light will turn off.
- Serve: Carefully remove the thermal carafe and serve. The vacuum insulation technology of the carafe helps keep coffee hot or cold for extended periods.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee maker. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Remove and discard used filter paper and coffee grounds from the stainless steel funnel.
- Wash the stainless steel funnel and thermal carafe with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Descaling (Monthly or as needed):
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly:
- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).
- Place an empty thermal carafe on the warming plate.
- Run a brewing cycle without coffee grounds.
- After the cycle, let the solution sit in the carafe for 15-20 minutes.
- Discard the solution and rinse the carafe and funnel thoroughly.
- Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to remove any residual vinegar smell or taste.
