4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the DELTA 3 1500 and its Smart Extra Battery. You can charge via AC wall outlet, solar panels, or a car charger.

• AC Charging: Connect the AC charging cable to the AC input port on the unit and then to a wall outlet. The unit will automatically begin charging. Full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
• Solar Charging: Connect compatible solar panels (not included) to the solar input port using the provided solar charging cable. Ensure panels are in direct sunlight for optimal charging. Full solar charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
• Car Charging: Connect the car charging cable to the car charger port and then to your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter outlet.

4.2 Connecting the Smart Extra Battery

To expand the capacity, connect the Smart Extra Battery to the DELTA 3 1500 unit using the dedicated expansion cable. Ensure both units are powered off before connecting.

5. Operating the DELTA 3 1500

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the main power button for 3 seconds to turn the unit on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

5.2 LCD Display Overview

The LCD display provides real-time information about the power station's status:

• Battery Level Indicator: Shows the current battery percentage.
• Input Power: Displays the current power input (e.g., from AC, solar).
• Output Power: Shows the total power output to connected devices.
• Remaining Charge/Discharge Time: Estimates the time until full charge or empty.
• Port Status Indicators: Icons indicating which output ports (AC, USB, DC) are active.

5.3 Using AC Outlets

Press the AC power button to enable the AC outlets. Connect your devices to the AC ports. The DELTA 3 1500 can power devices up to 2200W, with X-Boost technology supporting resistive loads up to 2400W.

5.4 Using USB and DC Ports

The USB and DC ports are typically active when the unit is on. Connect your USB-A, USB-C, or DC devices directly to the respective ports.

5.5 X-Boost Feature

The X-Boost feature allows the DELTA 3 1500 to power high-wattage resistive appliances (like hair dryers or kettles) that exceed its rated output, by lowering the voltage and current. This feature is automatically enabled when needed.

5.6 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Function

When the DELTA 3 1500 is connected to an AC wall outlet and devices are plugged into its AC outputs, it can function as a UPS. In case of a power outage, the unit will automatically switch to battery power within 15ms, providing seamless power to connected critical devices.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Storage

For long-term storage, charge the unit to 60% every 3 months to prolong battery life. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area between 20°C and 30°C (68°F and 86°F), away from corrosive substances and direct sunlight.

6.2 Cleaning

Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the surface of the unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.3 Battery Health

The DELTA 3 1500 uses LiFePO4 (LFP) batteries, designed for 3,000 cycles to 70% capacity. Regular charging and discharging within recommended parameters will help maintain battery health.
