Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Locate the Crown: The crown is the small knob on the right side of the watch case.
  2. Pull Out the Crown: Gently pull the crown outwards to the first click position. You may feel a slight resistance.
  3. Adjust the Time: Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. The watch features both 12-hour and 24-hour (military) time markings on the dial for precise setting.
  4. Push In the Crown: Once the correct time is set, push the crown back into its original position against the watch case. This will start the watch movement.

Note: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain the watch's water resistance.

Operating Instructions

Daily Use

Your GOLDEN HOUR watch is designed for everyday wear. The quartz movement provides accurate timekeeping with minimal intervention. The luminous hands will glow in low-light conditions after exposure to light, enhancing readability.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for:

  • Accidental splashes
  • Rain
  • Brief immersion in water (e.g., washing hands)

Important: It is not suitable for swimming, diving, snorkeling, or showering. Do not operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water seal.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Watch

  • Case and Crystal: Wipe the watch case and mineral glass crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
  • Leather Strap: Avoid prolonged exposure of the leather strap to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean the strap with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely. Leather conditioners specifically designed for watch straps can help maintain its flexibility and appearance.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the watch's water resistance is maintained after the case back is opened and resealed.
