1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your Turbelle NanoStream 6040.005 pump:

4.1. Positioning the Pump

  • Choose Location: Select a position in your aquarium where the pump can create optimal water flow without disturbing substrate or corals excessively. Ensure the pump is fully submerged.
  • Attach Magnet Holder: Place the pump unit inside the aquarium and align the external magnet holder on the outside of the glass. The strong magnets will secure the pump in place. The magnet holder is suitable for glass thicknesses up to 12 mm (1/2 inch).
  • Adjust Direction: The pump's outlet can be rotated to direct the water flow as desired.

5.1. Controller Overview

5.2. Basic Operation

  • Mode Selection: Use the "Mode" button to cycle through different operating modes (e.g., Constant, Pulse, Wave).
  • Flow Adjustment: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease the flow rate in Constant mode, or to adjust pulse intensity/duration in other modes.
  • Food Timer: Press the "Food Timer" button to temporarily stop the pump for approximately 10 minutes, allowing fish to feed undisturbed. The pump will automatically resume operation after the timer expires.
  • Wave Search: The "Wave Search" function helps to find the optimal wave frequency for your aquarium.

5.3. WIFI/Cloud Control

6.1. Cleaning the Pump

  • Disconnect Power: Always unplug the pump from the power outlet before cleaning.
  • Remove from Aquarium: Carefully remove the pump from the aquarium.
  • Disassemble: Gently detach the flow deflector and the protective cage. The impeller can then be carefully removed.
  • Clean Components: Use a soft brush and warm water to remove algae, calcium deposits, and other debris from all pump components, especially the impeller and its housing. For stubborn deposits, a mild vinegar solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing.
  • Reassemble: Reassemble the pump in reverse order, ensuring all parts are correctly seated.

7. Troubleshooting
