Setup

1. Pre-Installation Check

• Ensure all components listed in the package contents are present and undamaged.
• Verify compatibility with your existing VASTEND VL-BSD-7A or VL-BSD-10A monitor system.
• Disconnect the vehicle's battery before beginning installation to prevent electrical shorts.

2. Mounting the Camera

• Select an appropriate mounting location on the rear of your vehicle that provides a clear, unobstructed view. Common locations include above the license plate or near the rear bumper.
• Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
• Secure the camera using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure it is firmly attached and angled correctly for optimal viewing.

3. Wiring Connection

• Route the camera's video cable from the mounting location to the monitor's input. Ensure the cable is protected from sharp edges, heat, and moving parts.
• Connect the camera's power wire to a suitable power source. For automatic activation when reversing, connect it to the vehicle's reverse light circuit. For continuous power, connect it to a constant 12V power source.
• Connect the video cable to the corresponding input on your VASTEND monitor.
• Reconnect the vehicle's battery.

Operating Instructions
