2. Navigate to the system settings and turn off the AUX auto switching setting.
3. For manual AUX setting, go to Main Menu > Multimedia > External devices. Select 'Setup' and then 'Auto Switch to AUX'. Choose 'Harman Head Unit' or 'Alpine Head Unit' as appropriate.
4. Alternatively, for manual AUX activation, long-press '8' on your original car system until you hear a tone, then press '8' every time before entering the new system to get CarPlay sound.
