4. Setup
4.1 Power Connection
The welder supports dual voltage input (110V/220V). Ensure the correct power cord and adapter are used for your local power supply. Connect the power cord securely to the welder and a grounded electrical outlet.
4.2 Ground Clamp Connection
Connect the ground clamp cable to the appropriate terminal on the welder. Attach the ground clamp securely to the workpiece or welding table, ensuring good electrical contact.
4.3 MIG Torch and Wire Feeding (for MIG 200A model)
- Connect the MIG torch to the front panel connector.
- Open the wire feeder compartment.
- Install the welding wire spool, ensuring it rotates freely.
- Thread the wire through the guide tube and into the drive rollers.
- Adjust the drive roller tension.
- Select the appropriate contact tip for your wire size and install it on the torch.
- For Gas MIG, connect the gas hose from the regulator to the welder's gas inlet.

4.5 Electrode Holder (for MMA/Stick welding)
Connect the electrode holder cable to the designated terminal on the welder. Insert the welding electrode into the holder.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The welder features a large LCD screen for clear display of current and voltage, along with intuitive controls for parameter adjustment.

Figure 6: The control panel of the RUBIK MIG Welder, featuring a large LCD screen that simultaneously displays current and voltage. This allows for precise real-time monitoring and adjustment of welding parameters.
5.2 Welding Modes
The RUBIK welder offers multiple welding processes. Select the desired mode using the control panel.
5.2.1 MIG Welding Modes (MIG 200A Model)

Figure 7: Diagram illustrating the 5-in-1 multi-process capabilities of the RUBIK MIG Welder, including MMA Stick, Gas MIG, Gasless MIG, Lift TIG, and SYN (Synergic) modes.
- MMA STICK: Manual Metal Arc welding using coated electrodes.
- GAS MIG: Gas Metal Arc welding with shielding gas (e.g., CO2, Argon/CO2 mix). Suitable for various metals.
- GASLESS MIG: Flux-cored arc welding without external shielding gas. Ideal for outdoor use or windy conditions.
- LIFT TIG: Tungsten Inert Gas welding with a lift-arc start. Requires a TIG torch and shielding gas.
- SYN (Synergic MIG): Automatically adjusts voltage and wire feed speed based on selected wire type and current, simplifying setup.
5.2.2 TIG Welding Modes (AC/DC TIG 200A Model)

Figure 8: Diagram showcasing the 6-in-1 multi-process capabilities of the RUBIK AC/DC TIG Welder, including MMA Stick, AC TIG, DC TIG, AC Pulse TIG, and DC Pulse TIG modes.
- MMA STICK: Manual Metal Arc welding.
- AC TIG: Alternating Current TIG welding, primarily used for aluminum and magnesium.
- DC TIG: Direct Current TIG welding, suitable for stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, and other non-ferrous metals (except aluminum).
- AC Pulse TIG: AC TIG with pulsed current, offering better control over heat input and puddle formation for thin materials.
- DC Pulse TIG: DC TIG with pulsed current, providing similar benefits for DC TIG applications.
5.3 Parameter Adjustment
Use the control knobs and buttons to adjust welding parameters such as current (amperage), voltage, wire feed speed, inductance, pulse frequency, and balance (for AC TIG). Refer to welding charts for recommended settings based on material type, thickness, and wire/electrode size.
The "one-key operation" feature simplifies setup by providing pre-set parameters for common welding tasks, which can then be fine-tuned.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your welder.
- Daily: Inspect cables, torch, and ground clamp for damage. Clean the nozzle and contact tip (MIG) or tungsten (TIG).
- Weekly/Monthly: Clean the wire feeder mechanism (MIG). Check gas connections for leaks. Clean dust and debris from the welder's cooling vents using compressed air (ensure power is disconnected).
- Periodically: Have qualified personnel inspect internal components and connections.
Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter. For problems not listed here, contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power to welder | Power cord disconnected, circuit breaker tripped, faulty power switch. | Check power connections, reset circuit breaker, contact service if switch is faulty. |
| No arc / Poor arc start | Poor ground connection, incorrect parameters, worn consumables, faulty torch. | Ensure good ground, adjust parameters, replace consumables, inspect torch. |
| Wire feeding issues (MIG) | Incorrect drive roller tension, clogged liner, wrong contact tip, tangled wire. | Adjust tension, clean/replace liner, use correct tip, untangle wire. |
| Overheat protection activated | Exceeded duty cycle, blocked cooling vents, high ambient temperature. | Allow welder to cool down, clear vents, operate in a cooler environment. |
