Smart LED Display

The smart LED display provides real-time information about the vacuum's status, including battery level, suction mode, and fault indicators.

5. Setup and Assembly

5.1 Assembling the Vacuum

1. Insert the extension wand into the main vacuum unit until it clicks securely.
2. Attach the motorized floor brush to the other end of the extension wand, ensuring it clicks into place.
3. For handheld use, attach desired accessories (long nozzle or 2-in-1 flat brush) directly to the main vacuum unit.

5.2 Wall Mount Installation

6. Charging the Battery

The Curvymoontech DB5 features a detachable and rechargeable battery pack. Always use the original adapter to charge the vacuum.

1. Connect the charger to the charging port on the battery pack or directly to the vacuum if it's mounted on the wall charger.
2. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
3. The LED display will indicate the charging status.
4. A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Powering On/Off and Suction Modes

1. Press the On/Off button on the main unit to start the vacuum in Eco mode.
2. Press the Power Switch button to toggle between Eco (12Kpa) and Powerful (30Kpa) suction modes. The LED display will show the current mode.
3. Press the On/Off button again to turn off the vacuum.

7.2 Using Attachments

• Motorized Floor Brush: Ideal for cleaning carpets, hardwood floors, and tiles. The flexible head allows for 180° left/right and 90° up/down adjustment for easy maneuverability under furniture.
• Long Nozzle with Light (Crevice Tool): Use for narrow gaps, corners, and hard-to-reach areas. The integrated light illuminates dark spaces.

7.3 Free-Standing Feature

The vacuum cleaner is designed to stand upright on its own, allowing you to pause cleaning anywhere without needing to lean it against a wall or lay it down.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

8.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

The 1.5L large capacity dust cup reduces the frequency of emptying. It can be emptied in two ways:

1. One-Key Emptying: Press the release button on the dust cup to open the bottom flap and empty debris directly into a trash bin.
2. Detachable Dust Cup: For thorough cleaning, detach the entire dust cup from the main unit.

8.2 Cleaning Filters

The vacuum uses a 5-layer air filtration system, including HEPA and sponge filters. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

1. Detach the dust cup from the main unit.
2. Remove the HEPA filter and sponge filter from the dust cup.
3. Tap off loose dirt. Rinse the filters under cold running water until the water runs clear.
4. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a dryer or other heating device.
5. Reinsert the dry filters and reattach the dust cup.

8.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

The anti-tangle brush design helps prevent hair from wrapping around the brush. However, periodic cleaning is recommended.

1. Turn off the vacuum and disconnect it from any power source.
2. Release the brush roll cover on the motorized floor brush.
3. Remove the brush roll.
4. Use the provided hair cleaning tool or scissors to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
5. Reinsert the brush roll and secure the cover.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1 LED Display Fault Indicators

• Ground Brush Blocked Prompt: If this indicator lights up, check the motorized floor brush for tangled hair, large debris, or obstructions. Clean the brush roll as described in Section 8.3.
• Dust Cup or Duct Clogging Indicator: If this indicator lights up, the dust cup may be full, or there might be a blockage in the air duct. Empty the dust cup (Section 8.1) and check for blockages in the extension wand or main unit's intake.
