Operating Instructions

Operating the GSEICE slushy machine is straightforward. Follow these steps for optimal performance:

  1. Prepare Mixture: Mix your desired beverage concentrate with water according to the syrup's instructions. Ensure the mixture has at least 13% sugar content.
  2. Fill Tanks: Pour the prepared mixture into the transparent tanks. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
  3. Secure Lids: Place the lids securely on top of the tanks. Ensure they are properly seated to prevent spills and maintain temperature.
  4. Power On: Turn on the main power switch located on the control panel.
  5. Select Mode: Use the control panel to select the desired mode for each bowl:
    • Slush: For frozen slushies.
    • Cold Drink: For chilled beverages.
    • Margarita: For thicker frozen cocktails.
  6. Adjust Hardness (Optional): If you wish to adjust the slushy consistency, locate the adjustment knob at the back of the machine. Turning the knob up makes the slush softer, while turning it down (towards the plus sign) makes it harder.
  7. Dispense: Once the mixture reaches the desired consistency (indicated by the machine's display and visual appearance), pull down the dispenser handle to serve.

Daily Cleaning:

  1. Empty Tanks: At the end of each day, drain any remaining mixture from the tanks.
  2. Rinse: Fill tanks with warm water and a mild, food-grade detergent. Run the cleaning cycle for a few minutes.
  3. Disassemble: Carefully remove the tanks, augers, and dispenser handles.
  4. Wash: Hand wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Wipe Down: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
  6. Dry and Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling to prevent mold or mildew.
