3. Setup

3.1 Initial Use

  1. Unpack the kettle and all accessories.
  2. Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line, boil, then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the interior.

3.2 Voltage Selection

The DCIGNA D1011 kettle supports dual voltage (110V/220V). It is crucial to select the correct voltage for your region before plugging in the kettle.

  1. Locate the voltage selector switch on the bottom of the kettle.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Unfolding the Kettle

To prepare the kettle for use:

  1. Move the handle downward to its resting position.
  2. Move the handle upward to its pouring position.
  3. Pull up the kettle body to fully unfold it.
  4. Ensure the hanging hole on the lid is securely placed onto the hook on the handle.

4.2 Boiling Water

  1. Ensure the kettle is unfolded and the handle is securely attached.
  2. Fill the kettle with fresh water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (600ml) and ensure it is above the MIN fill line (200ml).
  3. Close the lid securely.
  4. Attach the detachable power cord to the kettle and plug it into a suitable power outlet (ensure voltage is correctly set).
  5. Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
  6. The kettle will automatically turn off once the water boils. The indicator light will extinguish.
  7. Carefully pour the hot water using the handle.

5.1 Folding the Kettle for Storage

7. Troubleshooting
