1. Setup

1.1 Battery Installation

The Furby DJ requires 4 AA batteries (not included). To install, locate the battery compartment on the underside of the toy. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and securely close the cover.

1.2 First Activation

To activate your Furby DJ for the first time, press the heart-shaped gem on its forehead. Then, lay the toy on its back and gently lift its head. This action initiates the initial setup and interaction sequence.

2. Operating Modes

2.1 Activating Modes

The Furby DJ features 5 distinct operating modes. To switch between modes, press the heart-shaped gem on its forehead. Furby will announce the current mode or prompt for a selection.

2.2 Music Mode

In Music Mode, you can create custom music, remix beats, and listen to various songs in both English and Furbish. Interact with the touch-activated multicolor belly lights to influence the music and create unique soundscapes.

2.3 Belly Games

Engage in interactive games by tapping or swiping the belly lights. Games include light matching challenges and color chase activities, providing sensory play and entertainment.

2.4 Party Games

This mode offers multiplayer games and activities, encouraging social interaction and fun. Furby DJ will guide players through various party-themed challenges.

2.5 Chill Time

For moments of relaxation, Furby DJ offers calming yoga moves, soothing light shows, and tranquil sounds to help unwind and promote a sense of calm.

2.6 Bestie Time

In Bestie Time, you can pretend to feed your Furby DJ by placing your finger in its beak, learn Furbish phrases, and enjoy jokes and other playful interactions.

2.7 Language Interaction

Furby DJ speaks both English and Furbish. It will respond to your voice and engage in conversations, offering a unique bilingual play experience.

2.8 Interacting with Other Furbys

When multiple Furby DJ toys (sold separately) are present, they can interact with each other, creating an expanded and dynamic play environment.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To clean your Furby DJ, use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the surface. Do not immerse the toy in water or use harsh cleaning agents. Allow it to air dry completely.

3.2 Storage

When storing the Furby DJ for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the toy. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 No Power

If the Furby DJ does not power on, ensure that fresh AA batteries are correctly installed in the battery compartment. Check for proper polarity (+/-) and secure the compartment cover.

4.2 No Sound or Low Volume

If there is no sound or the volume is too low, check the battery level. Low batteries can affect sound output. The toy also has a volume control feature; refer to the quick start guide for specific volume adjustment instructions.

4.3 Unresponsive

If the Furby DJ becomes unresponsive, try turning it off and then on again. If the issue persists, remove and reinsert the batteries to perform a soft reset.
