The included Karat Cap footswitch covers are designed to enhance the tactile feel and visibility of the footswitches, especially in low-light conditions. Simply press them onto the footswitches for easy installation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Connect the 9V DC power adapter to the DC IN jack. The unit will power on automatically. To power off, disconnect the power adapter.

5.2 Basic Navigation

  • Touch Screen: Use your finger to navigate menus, select effects, and adjust parameters directly on the 4-inch touch screen.
  • Menu/Value Knob: Rotate to scroll through options or adjust values. Press to confirm selections or enter sub-menus.
  • Footswitches: Press to activate/deactivate effects or switch between presets as assigned.

5.3 Switching Presets

The footswitches can be assigned to switch between different presets. Refer to the on-screen interface for current assignments or customize them in the settings menu.

5.4 Using the Expression Pedal

The built-in expression pedal can be assigned to control various effect parameters, such as Wah, Volume, or other modulation effects. Calibrate the pedal if necessary via the system settings for optimal response.

5.5 Drum Rhythms and Looper

The Ampero One MP-80 includes 100 built-in drum rhythms and a 100-second looper. Access these features through the dedicated buttons or assigned footswitches on the front panel. 5.6 Connecting Instruments and Amplification

  • Guitar/Bass: Connect your instrument to the INPUT jack using a 1/4" TS cable.
  • Amplifier/PA System: Connect the OUTPUT L/MONO and R jacks to your amplifier or PA system using 1/4" TRS cables.
  • Headphones: For silent practice, connect headphones to the PHONES jack using a 1/8" TRS cable.
  • External Audio: Connect an external audio device (e.g., music player) to the AUX IN jack to play along with backing tracks.
